Happy Anniversary to my sweetie!

Today is our anniversary! Craig and I have been married for 16 years today! It's hard to believe. I love Craig with all of my heart and soul. Like every marriage there are ups and downs, but that is to be expected.

We were married in downtown Orlando on a crisp fall day. If you know me, I love fall! I love the color changes, the fall scents, being Thankful for God's riches in our lives, and (especially in Florida) the cooler weather. I was teaching at the time and we opted for a wedding close to Thanksgiving for a couple of reasons. One was the weather and colors. The second was that we were already off of school for three days so I could extend my time off for our honeymoon as well. We went to Oahu, Hawaii................wow! We loved it. Our flight from Orlando took us to San Fransico so we stayed 2 days there to sightsee. In Hawaii, we stayed at a little B&B for a couple of days and then went to the Hilton on the beach. We rented a sporty little blue convertable and enjoyed driving the island with the top down. We visited the Dole Pineapple factory (love the Dole Whip's), went to a Sea themed park, spent the day at North Shore visiting Wyland's gallery there, visited Pearl Harbor (what a grand sight), went to the University of Hawaii, and basically enjoyed every facet of the island. We spent two weeks there. I'd love to go back with the kids.

We usually go away for Thanksgiving every year as a little celebration of our anniversary. I had wanted to go up to Pennsylvannia for the holiday (we love PA........Craig is from York), but with the pool and the economy we decided to stay home. The kids are out of school all next week so we are going to do stuff around the house and enjoy our break by resting. LOL We are celebrating our anniversary by going to dinner tomorrow night at Bonefish Grill. We are also going to the Mall at Millenia to walk around. We usually don't head out to the mall, but I need a case for my iPod so I figured we'd go there to walk around. It's always so nice to window shop in the malls during the holiday's.

Happy Anniversary to my sweetie, Craig!

~Harper's Bloggy Baby Shower~

Jenna, Heather, and Faith are hosting a bloggy baby shower for Kelly, aka Kelly's Korner today for the precious little gift of God that she is carrying, Harper Brown Stamps!
What an exciting time for Scott and Kelly as they prepare and nest for the arrival of little Harper. I found Kelly's blog last year during BooMama's Christmas House Tour. Her blog is very uplifting! In the world of blogs it's funny that even though you don't 'know' someone you actually do feel like you 'know' them! That's how it is with Kelly! I love to stop in and see how things are going with Kelly...........we've followed her journey thru the wait of pregnancy and then the awesome announcement and then the updates.
Kelly and Scott you will be great parents for little Harper and I know that your love of the Lord will shine in Harper's eyes as well! A true blessing! Enjoy every single moment of pregnancy (even the sickness, LOL) as it goes fast. But the ultimate reward is the day that you can hold little Harper in your arms and then bring her home.

Rock the Vote!

Just a reminder that if you didn't participate in early voting, please go out and vote. Your vote does count and does matter!
I was thinking something, wouldn't it be nice that the minute you vote it somehow transmits the 'vote' to your house cable or satellite so you don't have to watch any more election commercials. ROFL
Have a great day! I have a feeling it'll be a long night. LOL

Bloggy Winners~

Woo Hoo! We have three winners for the Chex Mix Indulgence Gift Baskets~

Before I announce the winners, first I'd like to thank everyone who visited my blog and welcome them back anytime! I love meeting new people out in the world and the blogs have been a great way to meet some really nice people! I tried to respond to as many of the posts as possible but I just didn't have a chance to with this week being Halloween and preparing the kids for all of their school activites. So thank you!

Second I'd like to thank Chex Mix for donating these awesome gift baskets. If you haven't had a chance to try the new Chex Mix bars, please consider going out to buy a box, or two, or three. :) I took one to my daughter's gymnastic practice because I was a bit hungry and did not eat prior to that. It was quite tasty and hit the spot. Just the perfect amount of chocolate and turtle goodness! My kids have enjoyed them as well, so they will be a new addition to my shopping list!

Third, I'd like to also let you know that in light of my new business (Scentsy), I'm planning something special for November. I hope that you will visit my website to take a peek around. These make great holiday gifts for your family and friends..........while you are looking don't forget to treat yourself. You will LOVE them, I promise! My hubby had a contractor over the other night looking at the curbs and he walked in and asked about the 'great smell' in our house! It's awesome!

Now without further ado, our winners! I picked these by using the Randon Number Generator. Our three winners are:

Stephanie (centurytel.net)

Shannon (bellsouth.net)

Nicole (hotmail.com)

I've emailed each of you direct to congratulate you.......Please email me your mailing address so that I can get these out to you!

Thank you again for visiting! Isn't the Blog Carnival the best!
