Old El Paso Green Chili's

Super Bowl 2010~ What a night, wasn't it folks? The Saints won and with that start a bunch of celebrations in New Orleans!
Well, that weekend also happened to be my son's 12th birthday. So we celebrated in style with the help of Blog Spark! I was asked to do a little review of the product and was given this great assortment of wonderful additions to add to the festivities! Perfect timing really. When the box arrived, I opened it up and loved looking at all the football festive stuff. My son's party was decorated with these goodies and we were able to taste test the Old El Paso green chilis too. Our friend Holly made some tasty chili that afternoon so we topped the chili with grated cheese and green chilis! Yummo! It was a crowd pleaser for sure. I was thinking these would also be great for home made nachos or even Velvetta Queso. So tasty for sure!
Thank you Old El Paso and Blog Spark for the opportunity to try out the Old El Paso green chilis and the wonderful football assortment of party supplies!! Y'all made my son's party!
If you would like to WIN one of these gift sets, then here's your chance! Old El Paso green chilis are a regular part of our pantry. One of our favorite recipes right now is Southwest Corn Dip and it takes 3 cans of these green chilis. I also make black bean salsa with them.

LOVE Green Chili's so much we grow our own in the garden, but the rest of the year we buy Old El Paso!

I'm with DeDe! One of my favourite meals as a kid was my mom's sour cream enchiladas with green chiles.....yum!

I've never tried those, but that little football bowl is adorable. Hope everything is well!

we have tried them in a few recipes -- our favorite is "Chili Cheese Dip" which is made with hamburger, cheese, the chilis, etc. in the crock pot and served warm.

I love Old El Paso green chilis! I'm just not creative, so would love more recipes! I either eat them outta the can, or throw them on my chili or chips and cheese!
