Say a prayer for Harper!

Update: Harper was instead flown to Tulsa, OK where they are placing her on a heart/lung bypass machine for several days. Scott and his parents are there and Kelly and her parents will hopefully be there sometime today. God is answering our prayers and Harper's condition is improving so DON'T STOP PRAYING!!!

Harper Brown Stamps was born at 7:03 PM. She weighed 9lb and 12oz.She is having some trouble breathing, so they have taken her to the NICU to check her heart. They have had to incubate her - they are doing tests to see what's going on.Also, Kelly lost a lot of blood in delivery and has really low blood pressure. We would really appreciate your prayers for both mother and daughter.

I have been blogging for a little over a year now. I have enjoyed reading other blogs and learning about different products. From the blogs I've learned more about menu planning, using coupons, trying different products, and different stores! It's all good! Personalize Fruit Roll ups GiveAway~

I don't know about your kids, but my kids love these fruit roll-ups! We try to keep some in the pantry for snacks and I usually will get them for Halloween or cheerleading snacks. Well, a few weeks ago I was given the awesome opportunity to try out personalized fruit roll ups! I was pretty excited, but I think my kids were even more excited! My son's birthday is coming up the end of January and he asked if we could personalize the roll ups with info for his birthday, so I said sure!

Savings galore!

One of my goals this year is to save money while shopping. I found two blogs/sites that I think are fabulous! They not only share the specials BUT they give links for the online coupons and list what dates the other coupons were in the circulars! One is Swaggrabbers and the other is Money Saving Mom!

So on Tuesday I ventured out to Walgreen's and Publix. I armed myself with $20 and figured I'd see what I could buy for $20 or less using the coupons and strategies on these sites. I couldn't believe it when I came home with $2 still in my pocket and ALL of these items too!

My first stop was Walgreen's. This week's ad is awesome. There are a lot of great deals with their store coupons alone. But adding the other coupons made it even better! I bought all of these items below and walked out only paying $17.55. Can you believe it? Seventh Generation is my new find. I have always been a fan of natural type cleaners and usually use either Melaleuca or Shaklee. But they are costly and I decided to try the other products in the Seventh Generation lineup. I have to say I was not disappointed!

Then I headed next door to Publix (our grocery store) and picked up these items for only.........are you ready for this? 34 cents! Yep...........that's right!!!

I am having fun saving money! I have also started to read this book by Dave Ramsey........

Well, off to boil some chicken. The peeps want poppyseed chicken for dinner!

The Bachelor

So who watched the Bachelor last night? I have to admit that I liked Jason last year when he was on the Bachelorette. I couldn't believe that Deanna picked Jesse. Nothing wrong with Jesse, he just didn't seem 'her type'. Now that they are broken up, I see on the previews that she is on the Bachelor apparently trying to woo Jason back. I hope not!

Did you have any favorites from the girls? I liked a few of the girls............

Stephanie.............I think she's a good match with Jason. Her little girl would be cute playing with Ty.

Melissa is another good choice. She seems down to earth, fun.

The peeps went to school yesterday for the first time in two weeks and I spent the day cleaning. Dusting, mopping, and washing..........now today I just have a few loads of laundry to do and then off to finish some work on Quickbooks.
